The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake part number 42799-B incorporates a high flow Heater Grid and Billet Intake Plate  to drastically improve airflow into your 2019-2022 Dodge 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. This intake was designed with the latest CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software and then tested on the flow bench, the dyno, and finally the road for real-world drivability. This intake is a direct-fit replacement made of cast aluminum that gives you more power and acceleration right away. This intake also fixes the issue of the hardware falling into the cylinder that the OEM intakes suffer from!

The High-Flow Heater and Billet Intake Plate have been added to the Monster-Ram intake system to replace the restrictive stock heater grid plate. This intake uses a vertical coil-style heater that is comparable to the factory heater grid for heating performance but it does so without obstructing airflow nearly as much. Then, the Banks Billet Intake Plate replaces the restrictive stock grid heater plate which clears the airflow path of blockages and turbulence.

With the Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake With Billet Heater and Intake Plate, your Dodge Ram Cummins intake manifold is totally re-engineered for superior airflow. To make space for the Number 1 fuel line, the original factory intake elbow has a sharp bend and is constricted. Banks re-designed the number 1 fuel line to allow for a better design of the manifold with reduced obstruction in that are and the resulting airflow in this intake is nothing short of amazing. The factory intake manifold only has a flow rate of 421 cfm (32.16 lbs/min), while this intake manifold with intake plate has a flow rate of 936 cfm (71.5 lbs/min). The additional airflow gives the turbo a boost without increasing backpressure. For higher horsepower applications, the improved throttle response means a more efficient engine with substantially more headroom than the factory intake manifold can provide.
